Welcome to Mountain Crest Pomeranian's.  We are

David and Carlene Gilstrap, located in South Eastern

Tennessee, Bradley County, 20 miles north of Chattanooga.  

We have been breeding Poms for over 30 years. 

We're very proud of our accomplishments as we've  bred

over 100 champions, multiple Group winners,

Best in Specialty and Best in Show winners. 

We've always had a love for animals, that is actually how

we met some 53 years ago.  David had a horse boarded on

Carlene's father's farm, both teenagers at the time.  David

was a friend of Carlene's brothers who invited him  out for

a visit.  The rest is history. 

We lived in Middle Tennessee for a while where the neighbor's kidded and said they were going to put a sign at the post office "go to the Gilstrap's they feed well."  Stray animals seem, somehow,  to find our home and they are never turned away.  We now have 3 cats that just found us and have  been here for years.

Over the years we've been very involved in many dog organizations.  We are Life members of the Chattanooga Kennel Club, and The American Pomeranian Club.  Also, members of the Greater Atlanta Toy Dog Association. We've both held offices in each of these clubs. 

 David currently serves as President and delegate, to the American Kennel Club, for the Chattanooga club.  He is an AKC license Judge for Pomeranian's. 

Carlene is presently on the board and serves as Show Chairman for the Chattanooga Club.  She is also on the Board of the American Pomeranian Club. 

In 2019 both were honored with a life membership to The American Pomeranian Club, also top Breeder of the year and top Breed by Exhibitor of the year.
